Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 19 May 2026

Transparency about how PayoutCompass makes money, and what that does — and doesn’t — mean for the reviews you read on this site.

The short version

PayoutCompass is an affiliate website. When you click certain links on this site (typically “Visit Casino” buttons) and sign up at the destination casino, we may earn a commission from that casino. This does not cost you anything extra — the casino pays us out of their own marketing budget for sending you their way.

Affiliate commissions are how this site is funded. Without them, PayoutCompass wouldn’t exist.

How affiliate links work

When you click a “Visit Casino” button on PayoutCompass, the casino’s tracking system records that you arrived via our site. If you then sign up and meet the casino’s referral conditions (typically: open an account, make a deposit, sometimes wager a minimum amount), the casino pays us a commission.

Commission structures vary by casino:

  • CPA (Cost Per Acquisition): A one-time payment for each new player we send who deposits.
  • Revenue share: A percentage of the casino’s net revenue from players we sent, paid monthly for as long as those players continue to play.
  • Hybrid: A combination of both.

The terms vary from casino to casino, and we generally don’t disclose individual commission amounts because they’re commercially sensitive and change frequently. What matters is what affects you as a reader — and that’s covered in the next section.

What affiliate commissions do NOT change

Affiliate relationships do not influence the editorial content of PayoutCompass. Specifically:

  • Ratings are not for sale. A casino’s overall rating is determined by our testing methodology, not by what they pay us. A casino with a higher commission rate doesn’t get a higher score.
  • Reviews are written based on actual testing. Every casino we publish a review of has been tested with real money. The verdict, pros, cons, and ratings reflect what we measured.
  • Payout times are measured. The withdrawal timings we publish come from our own withdrawal tests. We don’t accept casinos’ marketing claims about their own payout speeds.
  • Negative findings are published. If a casino has problems — slow withdrawals, hostile T&Cs, support that doesn’t respond — we’ll write about it, even if that casino is paying us a commission.
  • We exclude unlicenced operators. No matter how attractive an affiliate offer is, we don’t review casinos that operate without a valid licence. The exclusion criteria are documented in How We Review.

What affiliate commissions DO change

We want to be honest about where the commercial side of this site does affect what you see:

  • Which casinos we review first. Casinos with active affiliate programs that Malaysian players are searching for tend to surface earlier in our review pipeline than ones without programs.
  • Which casinos appear at all. A small handful of casinos — usually very new ones, or ones not actively recruiting Malaysian players — don’t have affiliate programs. Most of these are also low-traffic options that wouldn’t be useful for readers, but we’re noting the bias.
  • Which casinos get featured on the homepage. Featured placements on the homepage are editorial picks based on our ratings, but it’s worth noting that all featured casinos do have affiliate relationships with us. We’d consider featuring a high-scoring casino without one if it served readers well, but in practice the top-rated casinos in our index all have affiliate programs.

How to read our reviews with this in mind

The standard advice for reading any affiliate-funded review applies here: treat the rating as a starting point, not a final answer.

The most useful parts of any PayoutCompass review are the specifics: the documented withdrawal time, the actual bonus terms (not the marketing headline), the pros and cons, the comments about what works and what doesn’t. The score is a shortcut. The body of the review is where the value lives.

If you’re skeptical of any rating, the right move is to read the review in full and check the specifics against what the casino itself claims. If the review notes a slow withdrawal, that’s real. If we describe a bonus condition as restrictive, you can verify that against the casino’s own T&Cs. We try to make every claim auditable.

FTC, ASA, and other disclosure compliance

This disclosure is provided in line with widely accepted advertising and consumer protection standards — including the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) guidelines on endorsements, the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) rules, and similar frameworks elsewhere. Even though PayoutCompass primarily serves Malaysian readers, we apply these international standards because they reflect good practice and help readers everywhere understand the financial relationships behind affiliate content.

Where you see a “Visit Casino” or similar outbound button on this site, you can assume an affiliate relationship is in place unless we explicitly state otherwise.

Questions

If you have questions about how affiliate relationships work on this site, or you want to know more about how we handle a specific casino’s commercial relationship, contact us at [email protected]. We’d rather answer questions directly than have anyone wonder about the integrity of what they’re reading.
